I need help figuring out which camera is best for me. Either the Canon T2i or T3i?

I shoot a lot of sports, so shutter speed is a big thing for me. I'm currently shooting with a Canon Rebel XS so basically anything would be an upgrade. Next year, I'm also taking a photo class, so I was wondering if I should just spend an extra $100 or if I even need to. I just need to basically know which would be the best for shutter speed, since they both have the same megapixels.
